MMSC #34

Midnight Madness sketch #34

This sketch has been a nigthmare. Well, thats maybe wrong to say, it has not been a nightmare because it has kept me awake all night - every night since thusday.... I have been lying in my bed, twisting around, thinking about this sketch.

This is my 4th attemt, and now I just have to let it go. I need to get some sleep!
It is weird sometimes - I just can't get it to be right, there is someting wrong and I can't put my finger to it - so I can't fix it....

But when that is said, it is not always easy to get things done around my place.

Men, så er det søren meg ikke alltid like enkelt å få gjort noe her heller.

Here is Stella, sleeping on my printer, and Socrates is sitting on my laptop. In the midts of this is where I sit and try to make a card.

So this is my final result. It can be a wedding card og a Valentine card.

I dyed some mulberry roses in black ink. The red perls in front of the roses is part of a necklace I bought and picked apart.

The hart charm is aslo a pice from the same necklace. The black "leafs" I have used here is a pattern that I have cut out using sissors. Tanks Sarita for the tips and thanks Nela for sharing! You can find the pattern on Nelas blog. It is some work, but it is worth every minute! This one is now official a favorite of mine!

The stamped hart is from Stempelglede - I cut out the middle part of the hart, colored it with Watercolor pencil and used glimmermist to drag the color out. Afterwords I covered the hart in micropearls.

Thanks for stopping by! Thanks you for all the nice comments you leave me, I really do appriciate it!

Takk for besøket.
