Sketch and Stash # 26 and Cupcake Craft #72 Baby

I had a crafting crises today. I had no paper! Ever had that feeling - you know that you have lots and lots of, well......everything, but you still feel that you don't have anything you can use? Thats the crisis I had today ;o)

So I did a deep dig into my papers and found lots and lots of good stuff. Forgotten papertreasures ;o)

I used some of it on this card. It is an old wrapping paper that I must have had for 10-15 years. I found some of it in july, but it was only a little piece. Then I was at my moms house and there I discovered a whole box of papers - that was actually mine! And in that box there were more of this great vintagelooking paper. But when I got home, I but it in my box of papers and I forgot about it again.

This card is my first Easel card. I have some trouble with this easel thing. I don't know what easel means, but we have a word in Norwegian that is spelled "esel" and sounds almost the same. The thing is that "esel" means donky - so to me, this is a Donky card....

The sentiment says "Welcome to the world".

The card is made after the skecth for Sketch and Stash # 26 and for the Cupcake Craft Challenge # 72 wich has "Baby" as a theme.I have a friend that is going to have a baby in february, so I do need a baby card. This is maybe not a very traditional babycard, and she is expecting a boy..... but who cares ;o)

The sketch looks like this:

My new items used is the metal embellisment in the top right corner and the swirls used on the bottom part of the card. The heartpearls are also new.

It is still cold here, so it is good to stay inside keeping the fire going in the woodburner.
Tomorrow I will have to go back to work. It has been a long an relaxing holiday.

Thanks for stopping by. I love it when you leave me a comment, so that I can see that you have been here and get an oportunity to come visit your blog and see what you make!

Have a nice evening!

Takk for besøket!
