MMSC # 46

I have had a little disagreement with my mojo this week. So this is my second attemt on this MMSC #46 sketch. I really wanted to make a purple card, but that was more difficult than I did expect ;o)

The image in this card is a picture I have cut out of an artbook. I scanned it and put a sepiafilter on it. The image is a painting by a danish artist named Hans Henrik Lerfeldt. And the painting is called "Sweet Reason". The woman actually has a big (and I mean BIG) fly sitting on her shoulder. It is very cool, but maybe not for a greetingcard ;o) So I decided to cover it up.

If you do peek under the flower you can still see the fly, so I guess I will have to give this card to someone I know can take the surprise ;o)

Thank you for stopping by and have a very nice day!

I have had some comments regaring the fly, so I have decided to post the original photo. This is a photo of a painting, I cut the photo out of an artbook. Not sure about the copyrightrules here, but I decided to at least write the name of the painter on the image.

So for those who can deal with bugs and stuff here is the image, for those of you who really don't like flies LOOK AWAY! *LOL*

You do some of the most creative things. If this is a lack of mojo for you, hold us back when you are full mojo. This is incredible....not that I expected to see anything less even if you don't think so. I have to say thank you though for covering the bug, because I can't deal with bugs of any kind on people.
Thanks for playing with us at the MMSC, and thanks for stopping by my blog to see my latest and leaving me a comment. It makes my day to see your face over there. Will be seeing you soon.

Hugs,
Carolyn

Gunn, another beautifully creative card from you! Lost your mojo....yeah right! If I created this with no mojo, boy would I be happy!!! Love that image in sepia (black and white and sepia just add such a beautiful touch to any photo)and you know what, I love the original too...fly and all! You create such depth to anything you put your hands on and all these fabby layers are just awesome and the colors perfect. The final touch of that soft pink flower is really stunning! I think we all love what you create each week...it's such a treat for us to see your amazing creations!
You should try a card with your own picture in it!!! Thanks for always showering us with inspiration :)
