Simon Says - a card for a child

This is my last week as a guest designer for Simon Says. It has sure been a lot of fun! The Simon Says DT's are very talented so it has been an honor to be spotlighted by them. Thank you so much for having me as your guest designer!

The challenge this week is to make a card for a child. Not my strongest side there - can you tell? But ok, when do you stop being a child? Simon Says encorage us all to look at the Make a child smile website and send a card to a child who needs some extra attention.
I found 16 year old Bethany, and she sure needs a smile! While fighting cancer, her dad dies. Now it also turns out that her older sister is pregnant and the unborn child has some kidney problems. It is a hard story to read. Life can be so unfair some times! You can read more about Bethany here, and find her adress. Please have her in mind while making a card for this challenge!

I decided to make an Orlando Bloom card for Bethany. I sure hope she likes him.... but then again, is it possible NOT to like Orlando Bloom? I added som harts, some pearls, some flowers and a bit of sparkle. I guess it is as girly as it can be in my world *LOL*

I have made the card after the MMSC #48 sketch. I always have to play the MMSC, they have the best sketches! ;o)

So go and check out the Simon Says Challengeblog. Visit the DT's and then make a card for a child who really needs it! Go see the Make a child smile website today!

Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a nice day and take care!

Takk for besøket og hjertelig velkommen tilbake ;o)

Oh my Gunn...doesn't Orlando look sexy here. And who would think my hormones would be flying at my age!!! You have a gift for titillating the senses with your creativity. The hearts, flowers, and swirls capture the hint of romance and appeal. I am sure Bethany will love this and your thoughtfulness Gunn is commendable. I admire your generosity! Thanks so much for playing along with us this week at the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge. It is always a pleasure for me to visit and absorb some inspiration from your creativity!
