Pink, dots and blue.... What's happeing to me?

There must be something rotten in the state of Denmark or somehting cause I have made jet another pink card. And that is not even it - I have used pink togheter with blue and dots - I have never , ever used dots. I am SKEERED (Linda would have said *LOL*).

Well, well. It was very scary to use this image. It is a free digi from Priscillastyles
that she gave to the members of CDAC - and it has been very popular. A lot of people have made the most outstanding cards using this digi, so I kind of felt like it had all been done - what could I possibly do to this image that someone else not already had done with greater sucsess than I would ever acchive?
I gave the dress stand a big necklace - maybe to big, but if it was real it would have been some diamond to show off eh? Then I gave her a white silk belt with a pink pearl. My BLENDER PEN (as Linda would say) has run dry, so I did chalk this image. Just gave it a little hint of pink, and then some Stickles. I printed the image twice, cut out one and popped it up on foamdots. It turned put that I printed them in different sizes so it got quite a bit of shadow.

This metal (what should I call it?) is one that I got from my aut Wenche. I added some flowers and some pearls to it.

Went a little bit bananas witht he flowers again. Both the flowers, the lace and the metalbutterfly I have got from aunt Wenche.

Simon Says - dots
Wild Orchid - Lovely lace
Daring Cardmakers - It's a girl thing
Dutch Dare Challanges - Anything goes

Thanks for stopping by! Leave me a note - I love to see that you have been here.
Have a great day!

I have used Priscillastyles latest digi for this card. It is called Oil lamp and can be found here. Isn't it great?

Had to turn to Tim Holtz grungeboard for this. I embossed them with Vintage Photo embossing and added a hinge at the top and the bottom of the image. I also embossed a grungeboard flourishes and then I added pearls on the outside of it.

My first digi

I have made my first digital stamp! How cool is that?

This very cool oillamp actually hangs in my parents summerhouse. My mother sent me a photo of it and I made it into a stamp. Thanks mum! I have always thought that this lamp is very beautiful. The details disappeared, but on the sides there are a sailboat and a lighthouse. When I was a kid it was just a big blub. It had been painted so many times. Then my mother cleaned it up and removed all the coats of paint and the sailboat and the lighthouse came out. We did not know it was there. I remember how amazed we was.

Play Date Cafe #39 - Black, White, Brown and cream

So what do you think? Do you like my digi?

Pretty in brown

I had a plan of playing with the Play Date cafe, loved the colors this week and made this card. When I upload it here and upload the inspirationphoto from PDCC I see that while I have gone brown and cream with a hint of gold - the colors at PDCC was white, black, cream and grey..... So here is a card for no challenges.

The colors of my card did not photograph very well, they are shades of cream and brown, but on the picture it looks a little bit greenish.. sorry about that.

Do you see my fab cornerrose? It is a digi from Delicious Doodles. It is just amazing and there are lots of fantastic digis over there! Check out her animaldigis - you will not find any better - I am sure!

The framstamp is one I just recived in a RAK from the very Lovely Linda! Thank you sweetie - I LOVE it!
Inside the frame I stamped this pretty little womansprofile from Art Impressions.

Well, I is way past my bedtime now, so I will leave you now. Please leave a note, letting me know you visited!

I could not make up my mind this week and ended up making two cards... I can tell it is vacationtime! But there is something about these cards that worries me a little - they are both pink.... Please keep an eye on me - if this continues I beg you to call the Nuttyhouse and have me admitted! Ok?

Card # 1

For this card I have used D'Amore Allure image Doris Mae - isn't she great? She is so beautiful!

I have colored Doris Mae with watercolorpencils and added just a hint of Stickles to the creases of her dress.

Just wanted to show you some details - her you can see the butterflies among the roses and the Stickles on her dress.

Card #2

My second card is made with a digi from Lil' Diva stamps. This stunning bride is called Goth bride, but I really don't see the Goth in her.

Quite a lot of flowers going on there - again *LOL*

The bacground stamp is from Layers of Colors - the Joyful Noise set. I stamped it in silver and then popped the bride up on foamdots. I did not color the bride, but i added some silver along the creases on her dress and then went over it with Stickles.

A little close up of the flowers.

Fly away - fly fly away

I had lots of plans for crafting for my holidays, but doing all that hard gardenwork have taken all my energy. Now I have taken a couple of days off from my huge pile of dirt and finally come into craftingmode again! This is my second post today!

Anyway, I really want to play with the Play Date Cafe again. They have some great colorchallenges. This week it was Purple, Lilac and Lime... not sure that I hit the colors spot on, but I am in the area somewhere.

I have used my Layers of Colors butterfly. I have also used other Layers of Colors stamps on the DP and I used the Layers of Colors art stencil. Yeah! I am in a Layers of Colors mood today ;o)

The butterfly was stamped twice and both images embossed with black embossing. The top was then colored with watercolorpencils and glued on top of the other with some foamdots under the wings. I have added some Stickles to the center and on the tip of the wings.

Lots and lots of flowers from WOC, some metal butterflies from Kort og Godt and lots of little beads. The beads and metal butterflies I have gotten from my aunt Wenche.

My DP is from Webster Pages. They have the most beautiful papers!

Thank you so much for stopping by! Take care and have a nice day!

Drunken stampers - Sketch

The Drunken Stampers have given us a sketch for their challenge this week. I like that cause I can't do anything without a sketch ;o)

I have used my Layers Of Colors Art Stencil to add interest to the DP.

They do not show very well, but I have added three small purple pearls on the top here.

I found this great chandelier on the net. I really liked it. Added some pearls and rubbed it with some Vintage Photo Distress ink.

I got a little order form Wild Orhcid in the mail the other day. Lovely black and purple roses ;o)

Thanks for stopping by! Take care and have a nice day!

MMSC #62 Little red corvette

And honey, I say Little Red Corvette
Baby, U're much 2 fast (Oh)
Little Red Corvette
U need a love that's gonna last
~Prince ~

This card is made of paper from the Paper Temptress. I have used the the Black velvet and Gold sparkle. I am not sure how to explain the sensation of working with this paper. My photos can never really do this justice.
Paper is a touch an feel thing to me so ordering online was difficult, but BOY I am happy that I did. The Black velvet paper is the most fantastic paper I have ever touched. It is soft and smooth. You can emboss it, and you can distress it. It distresses beautifully! It is just an amazing paper.
The Gold Sparkle is the most beautiful paper you will ever find. This is the kind of paper you would want to buy loads of to make sure you never run out! It really sparkles! Make sure you have loads of this for your christmascards!

The ribbon is also from the Paper Temptress. She has some amazing ribbons over there!

I have used stamps from Layers of Colors, All Night Media and Great Impression. The swirl over the car has been embossed with gold embossingpowder.

My FAB car is from Doodles Palace. These cars did not come with a metallic paint, but I took some artistic freedom there ;o) You want to come for a ride with me?

Everyone has absolutely fallen in love with the PaperTemptress products. They have Cryogen White Iridescent paper which is perfect for coloring with Copics and their Mica/Metallic line is divine. If you have not tried her papers, just take a look at what the Midnight Madness DT has made this week. We were all spoiled by Patricia and have used her yummy papers on our sample cards.

The lucky winner this week will win a $25 voucher to her store. Thank you Patricia, we just love your products.
