SCH Lord of the harvest

It is saturday and time for the DT post for Sugar Creek Hollow.
This week the DT's where challenged to use the beautiful tag-image "Lord of the Harvest". I think it is quite amazing to see all the different cards we made using this same image.

To me this was quite a challenge I must say. We don't celebrate Thanksgiving in Norway, I have never seen a fullsize pumkin (other than on american tv-shows and movies) and I do in general don't really like to use english sentiments on my cards. So I did struggle with this one, but I also think that it was worth it.

I finally got to use these beautiful calas. I have had them for months, but they never seemed to fit. I have tried to use them lots of times but ended up putting them back in the box.

Now stop by my DT sisters and see all the amazing stuff they have made! And don't forget to come back next saturday. Then it is time for the release of Sugar Creek Hollows Christmas digis and a great bloghop!

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day!

Challenges:
Marks Finest Paper - pumpkin
Our Daily Bread Designs - anything with wings
Alphabet - v for vintage
AiFactory - anything goes
Charisma Cardz - anything goes

I like your pearls and beaded cord. I also think it's pretty how you trimmed the tag.

The struggle was well worth it on this card. Your work as a designer shines through no matter what image you use. And those callas....oh my....I want some!!!! I am going to head over to my local craft store later today and see they have anything even remotely close to that. They really tie everything together on your card. Blessings to you DT Sister...Tracy

Hi Gunn, doesn't this card make you feel like you have opened an old journal and found someone's special keepsake? When I first saw it I knew it reminded me of something special to someone, then when I looked again this morning it hit me! What a talent it takes to relay that kind of emotion in a card; you certainly have that talent! This card just takes my breath away!

Hei Gunn!

Klem...Mona
