I made a black and white card this week using "priscillastyles" Dresstand image. The reason I wanted to make a card with this image was cause I suddendly remembered that I had a sewingmachinecharm - could there be a more perfect fit? I must also say that I got the charm from the birthdaygirl - aunt Wenche ;o) So also with the fabric, the white corner flowers, the black laces and the other metal on this card.
Isn't this a cool charm?
Thank you so much for stopping by. No go see what my DT sisters have created and come play with us!
It is saturday and time for the DT post for Sugar Creek Hollow. This week the DT's where challenged to use the beautiful tag-image "Lord of the Harvest". I think it is quite amazing to see all the different cards we made using this same image.
To me this was quite a challenge I must say. We don't celebrate Thanksgiving in Norway, I have never seen a fullsize pumkin (other than on american tv-shows and movies) and I do in general don't really like to use english sentiments on my cards. So I did struggle with this one, but I also think that it was worth it.
I finally got to use these beautiful calas. I have had them for months, but they never seemed to fit. I have tried to use them lots of times but ended up putting them back in the box.
Now stop by my DT sisters and see all the amazing stuff they have made! And don't forget to come back next saturday. Then it is time for the release of Sugar Creek Hollows Christmas digis and a great bloghop!
I decided to use two of Teri's beautiful images. If you have not seen her digis, you really shoud visit her blog Delicious Doodles. She is amazing! I used her Vase of Roses and her Corner Rose. The corner rose ended up beeing almost all covered, but the flourishes still stand.
Now stop by the MMSC blog and see what my DT sisters have come up with, and then run to your craft room and play along with us!
It is Sugar Creek Hollow Saturday. This week the DT's got a colorchallenge. Black, Ridinghood red and vanilla. I chose to use this amazing Door image from the Behold, I stand at the door - set. I colored it with watercolorpencils. Then I mistreated it (or distressed it if you like), I crumbeled it and I sandpapered it and just gave it a hard time for a while ;o) I also had some Distress Embossingpowder here and there, but it does not show very well in the photo.
Around the door I first had a string of beads then I added roses and some other small flowers that I don't know the name of. Then I added small red and white beads in between. The black lace is one I got from the Lovely Linda, the DP is from my mum, the big charm and some of the flowers are from my aunt Wenche. Thank you!
It's tuesday again - the weeks are flying by! We are very happy that Priscilla and Carol will be joining us again during the week. I hope they will share lots of pictures from the Crafting cruise with us.
I have got a cold that is not a cold. I am tired, have a headace and is generally not feeling to good, but I am not really sick either. Met a neighbour today that told me it will last for 3 weeks, both her, her DIL and granddaughter had just been through it.... BLAH I don't want to feel like this for 2 more weeks.
Yesterday when I cam home from work I was so beat I needed to rest just a little. Went to bed and was only going to have half an hour. I woke up 3 hours later..... oh well...
Anyway - are you ready for some Midnight Madness? As always we have two sketches for you, one fancy and one CAS.
Enter one style or both this week.
Just have fun and come play with us :)

I have used "priscillastyles" beautiful sunflower for this coloful card. I am starting to make those cards for next summer I think - or maybe I am just late for this years summercards... oh well it is a happy summers card either way.
I used some rainbow colored paper for my bg, then I added some vellum music over it. I printet the sunflower twice, colored it and then covered it with Diamond Glaze to give it a shine. Then I added a big butterfly to the flowersentre. The pearlswirls are homemade ,o)

Awards in any form, it Tis purely for inspiration!
I kept the colors on this card in brown, cream and green to give it a bit of autumfeel. The text on the image did not fit the purpose of the card so I removed it and then I added some all over background text. It does not show very good in the pictures. I colored the image with watercolor pencils and added some pale green pearls.
The Dp is from Webster Pages, and I have also used a piece of musicsheet from Tim Holtz. The flowers are from Wild Orchid.
Please stop by my Sugar Creek Hollow DT sisters - they are a very talented bunch of ladies.
It is raining pretty hard here today. But we have a lot of work to do inside, so it does not matter. My flowers are happy I think. Thanks for stopping by and have a nice day!
Everything can happen at Halloween - like the Bulldog might get Batwings ;o) Like this one from "priscillastyles". He is kind of cute eh? He comes in a set of 6 digis. That is cool!
I printed the text and cut it out. Placed it on this diecutted scalloped thing and added some dark beads all around it, then I just wrapped some tread all over.
I know I said that I was out of scullcharms - but I was not! *happy*. I added some orange beads to the eyesockets so it looks like they have glowing eyes. I also tried to make some spiders, but it did not show very well what this black furthings was supposed to be so they also got orange eyes ;o)
More scull, more spider and some black rosebuds. In the backgorund I had a very cool picture of some scare pumkins, this I covered with this spiderweblooking ribbon. It was white, but I darkend it a little with some black StazOn. Turned out pretty white anyway. To bad I ended up covering the cool picture.. oh well - can't have it all.
The dog was printed twice. I colored one all black, the other is colored with watercolor pencils and then coated with Diamond Glaze to giv it a shine. Then the colored one was pop up on foamdots so it looks like he brings his shadow. They were then added to a pice of orange fabric that I got from Aunt Wenche. before they were put on a black circkle. The black cirkle has been embossed with Black Soot embossingpowder. The orange cirkle was colored with Tea Dye, then got a coat of orange glitterglue and then around the egde I added some purple Stickles.
Thanks for stopping by! Don't forget to stop by "priscillastyles" store to check out her cool digis!

I have been playing with Sunshine and Giggles Halloween Pirat this week. Isn't he cute? I know I said saturday that I hade used all my scull, but see what I found! I have my own personal treasurechest - I find the most amazing things there ;o) it is purely fI knoor inspiration!
But my pirat needed a treasurechest of his own I thought - look at this one - filled with gold!
And a little treasuremap of course - this pirat has it ALL!
Isn't he cute?
I think he just maybe is going to board the MMSC crafting cruise....
Now run over to the MMSC blog and join us for the fun this week! Remeber that the cat is gone - so there might just be some extra fun *LOL* (or maybe not)

We are just a few weeks away to the official start of fall. To celebrate, we are kicking off the season today at Sugar Creek Hollow with some fantastic Fall Digis and a Brand New Design Team. Come take a look at who's is in the team. They have some great cards to show you using the latest digis. Then, make sure to visit the store to purchase any of these great digis. We even have some Vintage gift ideas you can purchase.
This is my first post for SCH. This week we are promoting Tracy's autum digi's trough a blog hop. Take a look at what the other designers have created - I promise you a lot of great artwork!
I fell in love with the Spider web quilt set and made this explotionbox with it. In the center I have 4 spider popping up when it opens.
Explotion boxes are fun to make. Here is a guide for it - it is in norwegian, but it is quite easy. You need: 3 12"x12" papers for the box and 1 8"x8" for the lid. On the 3 sheets for the box on the bottom paper don't do anything - the 2 paper cut of 1/4 inch on two sides and on the 3 paper cut of 1/5 inch on to sides. Then just follow the pictures on this tutorial.
I have decorated all the sides of my box. The outer page:
I have covered all my spiders in Diamond Glaze to give them a pretty shine. They do look good don't they *LOL*
The middle page:
Here I have used the Add-a-face-pumking. I had this cute stamp of a set of eyes so I gave the pumkin a face. I am not sure if it looks pretty or distubing - a pumking with eyes.... not really comfortable with it!
The center of the box of course got the most attention: Some sculls surronded by flowers and some gold spiderweb (well that was what I was trying to make it look like).
Some blood running
Some more spiders of course
And some more disturbing black flowers and a scull
I think I used all my scull charms for this project! Thanks aunt Wenche for giving me such useful charms ,o)
The lid was decorated with a big shiny spider and lots of red and black beads.
And of course little more black roses, a scull and some golden spiderweb ;o)
I also made a gift tag to go with the box, makes a nice little gift set - right?
Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you will take a tour and visit my DT sisters to see what they have made!
