Challenge yourself!

A new year will often also mean new challenges, and I started by challenging myself with the most difficult thing I know when it comes to crafting - a one layer card...
I don't think I have ever been able to make one before. So this is a first for me.

I stamped the Calas twice and made a mask of one of them. With the mask in place I stamped the french script stamp over it, then I stamped the sentiment at the bottom. Sponged the edges with Distress ink (vintage photo) and added three small hearts and five beads and Voila! I had made a one layer card..... I still can't belive it :)

I think it is harder to make a simple card than one with "the kitchen sink." You did a wonderful job. Thanks for joining us at Sentimental Sundays Challenge #83 - Anything goes.
